Special Classes List for Pocket Academy Guide

Special classes can be taught to your students in order to improve their grades. As you improve the rank of your school, more special classes become available. All special classes cost research points, and indicate the subjects that should see an increase in grade points. However, special classes are subject to the law of diminishing returns. When a student’s subject grade is far away from the maximum, the more expensive classes will add the most points. However, as they get closer to the maximum value, the amount of grade points added by the expensive classes diminishes rapidly. As such, all the special classes are useful to a certain extent, as the expensive classes give the most stat points when students have lower grades, whereas the cheaper classes are more cost effective once a student is close to maximizing a grade.

Club list for Pocket Academy Game

Clubs are a good break from student life, and allow your students to leave school for a few weeks to engage in some friendly competition. Initially, there are 6 clubs available, however, many more are available to unlock. When your students return from the club competition, they will let you know their rank and might even bring back a consumable item. In most cases, the returning club members will see a boost in their popularity. Placing first in a club activity will see a boost in prospective students.
There are two key factors to placing first in club competitions. The first is the students that you send to the competition. Each club has a relevant student attribute, so students with high skill points in the relevant attribute will perform better. Students with auras also perform exceptionally well at competitions, at the expense of consuming their entire aura at the event. Students in couples will also drag their partners along to the events, increasing the chances of placing well. The other key factor is the spirit value of the club, which seems to play a very significant role. Having a minimum of 30 spirit will drastically improve the results of your competing clubs, almost guaranteeing a victory with a sufficiently talented student. The number of students you send to a competition have a minimal effect when compared to increasing the spirit value of the club.
One thing to note with regards to getting a boost in prospective students through winning club competitions, if you win the competition on your first try, you will not get the boost. Place in the top ten first, before winning the club to ensure that you get the boost to your prospective students.

Career Path list for Pocket Academy Game

In M3 W1 every year, your Y3 students will undertake a placement test, which determines whether they will succeed in their chosen career path or not. Careers become available as students use facilities. Higher int students have a greater chance of unlocking new career paths when they use facilities. On the first page of the student window, you can see their career path at bottom, as well as their chance of success. Not all careers are related to the grades of a student, and even students with a 500 grade average can have only an 86% chance of succeeding in their chosen career.
Some students may not have a chosen career path when the time comes for the placement test. In these cases, the student will graduate as a Part – Timer, which is the worst available job to any student. To counteract this, an item called a Career Book is available to let you choose a career path for these students before the placement test. More information on the Career Book will be given in the Items section.
There are two reasons for choosing specific careers for your students to graduate as. Firstly, after the results of the placement test are released, your school will receive 3% of the total income of all of your graduating students as a bonus. Thus, having a student graduate in Int Design, which is a $200K job, will result in a $6K bonus for just that one student. This bonus can add up very quickly, especially when you get to later years and have several classes of graduating students. The second reason is that by having students graduate in specific jobs, special facilities can be unlocked for research.
